The Track: Flemington is racing headquarters in Victoria, a spacious track with sweeping turns and a long home straight. Most runners will have their chance, even when the rail is out.
Track Bias, Barriers: The 2000m start is situated on the right hand side of the course, past the turn after the winning post. There is a long straight run until the first corner, barriers are of little importance. Difficult to lead all the way given the WFA conditions in this race and the long home straight.
