Flemington Race 6 1400m Fillies & Mares.
Flying Krupt ($6) completed a hat trick of wins last start, similarly placed here. Naantali ($4.8) ran 4th on open class last time, suited in mares grade. Twitchy Frank ($4.5) was a last start winner at Warrnambool, has a win at this track & distance. Remember The Name ($8) won 2nd up last time, looked good when resuming. Ocean Deep ($9.5) has placed all three so far this campaign, weight drop on last start and include in the multiples.
Flemington Race 7 Open Hcp 1100m.
I’m Wesley ($6.5) won last 2 in Tassie, back in distance here but has run well at this track. Invincible Al ($4.6) has become expensive for those backing him for the win, likely to run a place again though. Princeton Spirit ($10) was a last start winner at The Valley, less than a length 4th at this track previous and rarely runs a bad race. Order Of Command ($2.35) is looking for another win at this track, going well. Sam’s Image ($20) will be fitter for the first up run, down in weight here and could be value for the multiples.
Flemington Race 8 Chester Manifold Stakes Listed Hcp 1400m.
Chamois Road ($9.5) won well last start but is up in weight here. Cabeza De Vaca ($7) has trialled well ahead of resuming here, can go well fresh. Holbien ($8) has a win at this t/d, ran well in the Standish last start. Manolo Blahniq ($4.5) has placed at last 2, unplaced 4 starts here is a slight concern. Mr Money Bags ($5.5) is a last start winner at this t/d can’t leave out of calculations.
Flemington Race 9 Open Hcp 1100m.
Hard to make a case for anything other than I Am Someone ($2.15) who has sound form for this. Runsati ($18) likes to lead and was suited at last two, if they go forward could hang on for a place again. Sir Kalahad ($5.5) was too strong at Sale, up in class here and wide gate to consider. Tbilisi ($7.5) gets back and is always rattling home, might be better over even more ground but a chance if he gets a run.
