> Melbourne & Sydney Night Racing commences in September after the AFL Grand Final with racing at Canterbury and the Manikato Stakes meeting at Moonee Valley.
> Beginning in 2012, the aim is to have a permanent Friday night schedule for night racing in Sydney and Victoria.
> The Moonee Valley masterplan is for a major track renovation in 2016, after which field capacity will be increased and for the first time the Cox Plate will be held as a night meeting under lights.
> Night racing at Cranbourne will begin after the conclusion of the night racing season at Moonee Valley on 9th March 2012, to continue until the end of Victorian Daylight Savings.
